Tara Bergin

Tara Bergin is from Dublin. Her debut poetry collection This is Yarrow is published by Carcanet. She wrote her PhD on Ted Hughes’s translations of János Pilinszky, and has published widely on the subject of poetic translation, including articles in Translation and Literature (2014) and Translating Holocaust Literature (2015). In 2014 she was selected as Next Generation Poet by the Poetry Book Society. Her most recent collection The Tragic Death of Eleanor Marx is shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
