How do I subscribe?

The best way to subscribe is directly from us. We accept payments via credit/debit card and PayPal. If you need to pay by a different method please get in touch.

I’m a subscriber, but think I’m missing an issue I should have received.

Sometimes issues go missing in the post, and we’re happy to replace copies where this has happened. Please contact us with your name, address, and the issue you’re missing. We’ll look into it get back to you as soon as possible.

I’m a subscriber with an auto-renewing subscription but I think my subscription has lapsed. Can I check?

If you subscribe through PayPal, you can check this by logging in to your PayPal account and following these instructions. If that doesn’t help, you can contact us. We’ll look into it and let you know as soon as possible.

I’m a subscriber with an auto-renewing subscription, but need to cancel.

PayPal subscribers can do this by logging into PayPal and cancelling the online payment with us: you can read a step-by-step guide on how to do this. Please also feel free to email us with a request to cancel any forthcoming payments.

I’m a recent subscriber (since 11 Feb 2020), how do I manage my subscription?

Your email receipt will contain all the relevant information. You can also find out more about how to manage your subscription on this page.

I’m a subscriber from before 11 February 2020, how do I manage my subscription?

You can find out how to update your subscription information here.

If your subscription was taken through the MPT website prior to 11 February 2020, then your payments may be handled by one of Stripe, PayPal, BACS, or cheque.

Please get in touch if you have any questions, or if you need to make changes to your subscription.

Do you offer subscription bursaries for students, or people on a low income?

Yes, a limited number of subscription bursaries are available. You can contact us about these.

I don’t want to subscribe – but can I buy single issues?

Where stock is available we sell back issues through Inpress. You can find links to back issues on our issues page. You can also find issues by searching the Inpress catalogue.

How can I read issues that are out of print?

All recent print issues are available in our digital archive, via Exact Editions. The digital archive goes back to the first issue edited by David and Helen Constantine in 2004, titled Introductions. You can access this archive for £18.99 annually.

Please contact us with your name and address and we will update our records.

You should have received a welcome email when you subscribed, with information on how to access the archive online. If you didn’t – please contact us and we will create an account for you.

Please do. We’re open to reading all kinds of poetry from around the world – but please make sure you follow our submission guidelines.

I want to set up a subscription on behalf of a university, library or other institution.

You can find out how to do this via Exact Editions. Institutional subscriptions offer IP authenticated accessRemote/EzProxy access as well as Shibboleth authentication. The archive is also fully searchable. Find out more.
